Muhanga: The Children Empowerment Network Club (Rengera Umwana) recently held a special event where they distributed two rabbits per each family to 20 underprivileged families of children supported by the Club.
The event took place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Don Bosco Kabgayi oratory.
This initiative was aimed at supporting underprivileged families by empowering them through animal husbandry. The goal is to address issues such as child school dropouts, lack of food, and limited access to medical care
By providing families with rabbits, the Club hopes to not only improve their livelihoods but also promote sustainable practices that can benefit the entire community.
During the event, members of the Children Empowerment Network Club delivered a heartfelt message to parents, emphasizing the importance of understanding their responsibilities and the rights of children. Parents were urged to prioritize their children’s well-being above all else and to invest in their offspring for a brighter future.
To ensure continued collaboration and support, parents were asked to contribute to a monthly fund where each member contributes three hundred Rwandan Francs. This contribution will help sustain the Club’s efforts in supporting underprivileged families and children in the community.
The Children Empowerment Network Club (Rengera Umwana) is calling on well-wishers and donors to support their cause in empowering underprivileged families and ensuring that every child has access to a decent life. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.
